Wai Yee Hong celebrates 30 Years! - Competition
We are a family-run Chinese supermarket based in Bristol and we are celebrating our 30th anniversary this year! You can come and celebrate with us by entering this competition to win a table-for-4 to a dinner and dance gala at Water Sky Chinese restaurant on 24th June 2011. We'll even throw in a bottle for wine for each table, as well as a goody-bag with oriental ingredients!

- Entry to the prize draw is free. No purchase is necessary.
- To enter this competition you must be a UK resident and 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
- Winner must be able to attend and make their own way to the dinner and dance gala on the specified date.
- Entry to this competition will be closed on 17 June 2011 at 23:59.
- Winner of this competition will be picked at random from all valid entries, and notified by email the day after the competition closes. The competition winner will be listed on our website and Facebook page.
- Please ensure you check your email (and junk email folder). We accept no responsibility for loss if a prize is not claimed.

Our store is in the Eastgate Oriental City complex, which has a customer car park that can accommodate approximately 90 vehicles, however it can get a little busy at our peak times on Saturday and Sunday.
When brothers in law Allan and Raymond decided to go into business together to open a Chinese supermarket in Bristol, they decided to name it after themselves! Taking parts of both Allan and Raymond's names, they formed "Wai Yee" and "Hong" is simply Cantonese for "shop".
Wai Yee Hong means "Allan and Raymond's Shop"!
The Chinese calendar follows a lunar cycle, and as a result New Year falls on a different date in the Gregorian calendar each year. Generally, the New Year falls in January or February and our celebrations occur on the nearest weekend. We will announce the event details on this website and also in-store closer to the time.
It is our policy not to personally endorse any websites/societies/companies however, should you wish to advertise with us, we have a paid-advertising notice board in-store, and are looking to add a similar feature on this website in the future. All submissions will be subject to review before acceptance. We constantly strive to get the best deals with our suppliers and any benefits we receive get fed directly into our prices to you. Whilst we do not offer discounts, savings can be made by buying our bulk items and wholesale packs.

For offline purchases – We are happy to offer a refund or exchange on goods returned in original condition within 28 days with proof of purchase. We can only accept the return of opened items if they are damaged or faulty. We are unable to offer a refund or exchange without proof of purchase.
For online purchases – If you have purchased goods from our online store, please note that goods cannot be returned in-store. Returns must adhere to our returns policy for online transactions.
If the parcel you ordered from WaiYeeHong.com does not arrive in the state that we sent it, you must specifically sign for it as 'damaged' or 'opened' etc. 'Unchecked' will not be accepted as a valid status.
Take photographs of the damaged parcel and email them to us, with your order number and courier consignment reference at enquiries@waiyeehong.com
We kindly request that you keep the parcel and the contents in the same state that you received it so that it may be inspected by the courier's claims agent.
