Wai Yee Hong is delighted to be recommended as an online source for Korean ingredients in this recent article on guardian.com on Korean food.

The only Korean foods you may currently be aware of are kimchi and Korean barbecue, but be prepared to see and eat more of it in the future. Korean food is slowly making its way into the consciousness of UK foodies, with celebrity chefs such as Nigella Lawson, Gizzi Erskine and Judy Joo all promoting Korean foods such as gochujang, tteokbokki and jeon.

Despite lagging behind the US food scene, where Korean food is already quite mainstream, the interest in Korean food is growing in the UK. We have noted this growing interest, and have been trying to increase our range of Korean food products accordingly. If you’re looking for a particular Korean ingredient, and can’t find it, please contact us!
