Description:Hong Brand Unflavoured Edible Gelatine

Gelatine is a colourless, odourless, near tasteless substance derived from animal protein. It has many functions in food applications and will set to a transparent consistency, whilst not altering or masking the natural flavours of the food with which it's used. It can act as a stabiliser, thickener, water binder and gelling agent, in a variety of sweet & savoury dishes.

Directions (for a firm gel): Sprinkle 13g of gelatine to 65mls of cold water & allow to stand for 30 minutes until all water is absorbed.
Top up with 120mls of hot water, stirring to dissolve.
Refrigerate until set.

Directions only for guidance; results may vary depending on amount of gelatine & water added, combined with allotted setting time.

Add to: Stocks, Stews, Jellies & other dishes as required.
Storage Instructions: Store in cool and dry conditions - avoid contact with water.

Not suitable for vegetarians.
