Description:Heera Amchoor Powder (Dried Mango Powder Amchur)
Amchoor is a powder made from dried mangoes. It is used to add a tangy, sour flavour to dishes without adding moisture. It is a versatile ingredient and is sued in both veg and non-veg cuisine. Amchoor also has slight tenderising properties which is why it's often used in lamb or mutton curries.

Recipe for BBQ lamb skewer.
Ingredients: 1.5 kg diced lamb, 2 tbsp paprika, 1 tbsp Turkish pepper paste, 2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tbsp amchoor powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, 2.5 tbsp salt, generous amount of cracked pepper, 2-3 tbsp olive oil, 2 crushed garlic cloves, 2 slices red onions, sliced bell peppers.

Method: Leaving the lamb to one side, mix together the paprika, pepper paste, cumin, amchoor, cayenne, salt, cracked pepper, garlic and olive oil to create a marinade. Cover the lamb with the marinade then leave to marinate for 3 to 4 hrs. Meanwhile, soak the skewers in cold water. When ready skewer the meat along with the onion and bell peppers. Either cook on a BBQ or grill until cooked. Serve hot with salad and condiments.

Once opened, transfer product to an air-tight container.
Store in a cool dry place, away from strong odours.
