Description:Rajah Biryani Masala Spice Blend
A perfect blend of aromatic spices
No artificial flavours

A delicious blend of aromatic spices, herbs and seasoning for the perfect Biryani.

What You Need:
125g ghee or oil
3 onions, chopped
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp ginger paste
4 tomatoes, finely chopped
4 chicken breasts, diced
250ml yoghurt
40g Rajah Biryani Masala spice blend
1 tsp salt
300g Basmati rice, washed, soaked for 30 minutes, then drained

Optional Garnish:
2 tbsp coriander leaves, freshly chopped, a small chopped onion or red chilli.3 black cardamom pods
7 cloves
5 green cardamom pods
10 black pepper berries
2 cassia bark

1. In a large saucepan heat ghee and then fry the onions until golden. If using whole spices add and fry for 1 minute.
2. Add garlic and ginger pastes and fry for 1 minute.
3. Add tomatoes and fry until the oil separates.
4. Add chicken, yoghurt and Rajah Biryani Masala spice blend. Reduce heat and cover saucepan, stir frequently to prevent sticking. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the meat is tender and the oil separates.
5. In a separate large deep pan, add 750ml boiling water, salt and drained rice. Boil until the rice is more than half cooked.
6. Remove from heat, then drain.
7. Return half the rice to the saucepan, spread half the cooked meat and curry over the rice, and then repeat. Cover and gently simmer on a low heat until the rice is fully cooked and tender. Mix before serving.

Storage Instructions: store in a cool, dry place. On opening store in an airtight container.
