Try this spicy curry enriched with the flavour of spices and roasted onions:
Ingredients (Serves 9):
1 box Java Curry Sauce Mix, 1.1 lb (500g) meat, 2 onions (0.9 lb, 400g), 2 potatoes (0.7 lb, 300g),1 carrot (0.4 lb, 200g), 2 tablespoons oil,
5 1/2 cups (1300 ml) water (4 4/5 cups (1150 ml) if cooking in a covered pot)
- For 4-5 servings, use half the ingredients with 3 cups of water (700 ml) (2 1/2 cups (600 ml) if cooking in a covered pot)
Cooking Directions:
1. Heating up
Medium heat: Pre-heat oil in a pot, add bite-sized pieces of meat and vegetables and cook well
2. Add water and simmer
Low to medium heat: Simmer until ingredients become soft (approx 15 mins)
3. Add curry sauce mix
Remove from heat: Break curry sauce mix into pot and blend
4. Simmer until it thickens
Low heat: Bring to a boil and simmer (approx 10 mins). Serve over cooked rice or pasta

Store away from high heat for best quality and consistency. After opening, refrigerate unused sauce mix in a sealed container.
