Description:An intensely spiced, authentically dry curry sauce with coconut milk, galangal, ginger and ground spices.

Indonesian Rendang Sauce
A truly spicy curry to appeal to the connoisseur, very different in flavour to Indian curry. Traditionally cooked with diced beef and served with rice, garnished with diced red pepper and roasted grated coconut. Suitable for use with all meats, chicken, fish, vegetable and tofu.

Cooking Instructions:
1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a saucepan, add 350g of beef/chicken cut into strips and saute over moderate heat for 5 minutes.
2. Add Indonesian Rendang Sauce and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered over low to moderate heat for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Always check that the dish is piping hot before serving.
