Perfect for Indian, Oriental & Caribbean Soups, Curries, Stews or Desserts.

Preparation: Dissolve 50g of creamed coconut in 150ml of warm water to prepare coconut milk for cooking.

Sweet Coconut Rice
Ingredients: 454g Laila Jasmine Rice, Water, 1 ½ cups Laila coconut milk, ⅔ cups sugar, 30g Laila creamed coconut.
Method: Soak rice overnight in water. Drain, steam rice for 45 minutes or until grains can be pressed with fingers with no hard cores. Put rice into saucepan, add coconut milk, sugar and creamed coconut. Simmer on a very low heat, stirring occasionally. simmer until coconut milk is absorbed. Serve in individual bowls with slices of fresh mango or papaya.

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 2 days.
