Wai Yee Hong was recommended as an Oriental supermarket in an article on Vietnamese and Korean cooking in Food Lover Magazine. The recipes for Vietnamese-style pickling liquid and a take on Korean fried chicken used Oriental ingredients for which Wai Yee Hong was listed as a supplier.

We love the look of the crispy coated Fried Baby Chicken With Kimchi Mayonnaise recipe. Marinated chicken is sectioned and coated a with seasoned mix of wheat starch, wheat flour, corn flour and rice flour before being deep fried and served with a spicy fermented cabbage mayonnaise.
