Description:General use and care of your wok: Scrub both interior and exterior of your wok thoroughly with a cream cleanser to remove the special anti-rust coating. Rinse and dry thoroughly over your gas ring or electric hot plate. Put in two tablespoons of cooking oil. When the oil is warm rub the interior with a paper towel until the whole surface is lightly coated with oil. Heat the wok slowly for about 15mins, wiping occasionally with more oil ; you will see that it will start to darken in colour. This means that your wok is becoming seasoned, just wash it thoroughly in plain water. If scrubbing is unavoidable due to burning etc.., the seasoning process should be repeated. Should a little rust appear just use cream cleanser on the spot to remove the rust and following the seasoning process again. With proper care your wok will give you many years of service.
