Chinese Mid Autumn Festival Celebrations 2009

We would like to wish all of our customers, both in-store and online, a very happy Mid Autumn Festival. There are plenty of celebrations going on locally, so why not get involved? Here’s a look at some of the events being organised by local charities and community groups:

OCA Mid Autumn Banquet 2009 – Sunday 4th October, 6.30pm

This year, the Overseas Chinese Association of Bristol has organised their Mid-Autumn Festival Banquet at Water Sky Chinese Restaurant on Sunday 4th October 2009. Diners will be entertained by singers, a traditional unicorn dance and magician. As usual, the banquet will round up with a lucky draw, with proceeds going to the Overseas Chinese Association (Registered Charity No.: 1068751). This year’s first prize is a return flight to Hong Kong!

Tet Trung Thu – Vietnamese Mid Autumn Festival – Sunday 4th October, 2pm

The Mid Autumn Moon Festival is celebrated all over the Far East, so if you are looking for Celebrations with a Vietnamese flavour, why not look in at this Vietnamese celebration in Bristol, with free admission?

BACWG 20th Anniversary Celebrations – Sunday 11th October, 11am-4pm

The Bristol and Avon Chinese Women’s Group (Charity Number 1079401) are hosting their 20th anniversary celebrations and re-launch party at Water Sky Chinese Restaurant, Bristol.
