Chinese New Year 2007
Chinese New Year is the most eagerly awaited date on the Chinese calendar. The arrival of the New Year signifies a point at which all misgivings should be forgotten and the chance for a new beginning.
To celebrate the New Year, lion and unicorn dances are performed and fire crackers are lit to ward off bad spirits. This year, the crowds were out in force to see the lion and unicorn dances performed at our Station road premises. The unicorn and lion dances were performed by local lion dance troupes. We thank all participants for making the event a fantastic success.
