Wai Yee Hong Tweets For Bristol!

Bristol52 Social Media Project

Wai Yee Hong is excited to announce that we’ll be taking part in Bristol52; an online social project aimed to represent the character and life of Bristol.

“52 weeks. 52 people. 1 Twitter account. Bristol represented.”

Starting on 23rd April 2012, the project will run on Twitter for 52 weeks, with a different participant tweeting on the @Bristol52 account each week. Tweeters come from different walks of life, and it is hoped, will provide a glimpse into the diverse cultures and voices that make up Bristol. We hope that we won’t let you down!

The project is inspired by the successful @sweden twitter account, which sees a different Swedish person tweet on behalf of the country each week.

Jake Johnson, Founder of Bristol52 The project’s founder, Jake Johnson (@jakepjohnson), describes the project in no more than 140 characters: “Bristol52 will show off the best of the city, its people, places and events. A year-long showcase of the city’s personality!”

We look forward to hearing what Bristol has to say, and to becoming part of Bristol’s Twitter personality! We will be tweeting on the week commencing 4th February 2013, so be sure to tune in then! You can follow us, and our fellow Bristol52 tweeters, here:
