Description:Fortune Foods Kong Moon Rice Sticks (Rice Vermicelli)

Cooking Instructions
Stir-Fry Rice Vermicelli
1. Bring a pot of water to boil and soak the rice vermicelli for about 3 minutes or until soft. Drain and rinse with cold water, then set aside.
2. Heat the cooking oil in a pan or wok, then add minced shallots and stir-fry until fragrant. Add the shredded meat and stir-fry until golden brown and aromatic. Stir in the shredded shiitake mushrooms and dried shrimp, and continue to stir-fry until fragrant.
3. Add the shredded cabbage and carrots, and stir-fry until softened. Pour in water, followed by soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper, and bring the mixture to a boil.
4. Add the pre-soaked rice vermicelli to the pan, gently mixing to ensure the noodle absorb the sauce evenly. Reduce to medium heat, cover the pan with a lid, and let it simmer for about 2 minutes.
5. Uncover the pan, toss the rice vermicelli to ensure any excess liquid is absorbed. Turn off the heat, cover the pan again, and let it rest for 1 minute to allow the flavours to meld.
6. Open the lid, toss gently one final time, and serve on a plate. Enjoy!

Deep fry
Place the rice sticks straight from the pack in to boiling oil until they float to the surface.

Soup noodles
Boil the rice sticks with your favourite soup for a few minutes, add seasoning before serving.

Keep in a dry cool place.
