BBQ Chicken Skewers with Jimmy’s Sate Sauce Jimmy’s 沙爹串燒雞
Jimmy’s Saté Sauce is a popular sauce used in many Chinese kitchens. This is their recipe for BBQ Chicken Skewers. Perfect for your summertime barbecue.
Ingredients: 650g Chicken Breast 2 tbsp Natural Yoghurt 1 tbsp Jimmy's Saté Sauce 2 tsp Sugar ½ tsp Salt 1 tbsp Honey (for later) 8 Wooden Skewers (soaked in water) 650 克 雞胸肉 2 餐匙 天然酸奶 1 餐匙 Jimmy's沙爹醬 2 茶匙 糖 ½ 茶匙 鹽 1 餐匙 蜜糖(備用) 8 支 燒烤竹籤 - 浸泡在水中 Preparation: Mix the natural yoghurt, Jimmy's Saté Sauce, sugar & salt together in a large bowl until it becomes a paste. 將天然酸奶,Jimmy's沙爹醬,糖和鹽混合調成燒烤醬。 Cut the chicken into cubes approx 2 inch, add to the marinade & mix well so all the chicken pieces are covered. 把雞切成二英寸大小的方塊,用燒烤醬進行醃製,確保全部浸潤。 Store the chicken in an airtight container & put in the fridge to marinate for at least 2 hours. When you are ready to BBQ remove the marinated chicken from the fridge. Add 1 tbsp of honey to the chicken & mix well 把雞放入密封儲存盒內,安放在雪櫃內2小時以上,之後加一餐匙蜜糖於醃製好的雞塊內攪匀。 Skew the chicken pieces onto the wooden skewers, approximately 4-5 pieces per skewer. 用竹籤把4-5塊雞肉串好,放在爐具上。 Cook the skewered chicken on the BBQ on a medium heat, turning regularly. 使用中等火力燒烤,要經常翻轉燒烤串。 Notes:
