Come down to our store in Bristol to see the live firecracker and traditional lion dance performances. The event is free and everyone is welcome to come down and join us for the festivities.

The firecrackers will be lit at 11.15am to scare away the evil spirits for the new year. This will be followed by the kung fu skills of the Yi Quin lion dance troupe, who will be bringing luck and prosperity in the form of a traditional Chinese Lion dance.

2013 is the Year of the Snake, which is the sixth sign in the Chinese zodiac. Snakes are private individuals who are known for their intelligence and humanitarianism. They hate to fail which means they have good fortune, and can always find funds when they need them. If you are aged 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84 or 96 this year, you are more likely than not to be a Chinese Snake! Check out my snake horoscope!
