2 October 2009Wai Yee Hong has hit the airwaves! On 19th August, store manager, Sandie Tan spoke to Jade Yang Pang in an interview for the Chinese Connection show on BCFM (Community Radio for Bristol).
25 September 2009Allan Tan and Raymond Chow had the honour of meeting Terry Waite at a charity garden party held to raise money for the Under Privileged Children’s Charity (UPCC). They handed over a cheque for £1,000, which came from the proceeds of our in-store collection and sales of our plastic carrier bags.
28 July 2009Thanks for all your donations towards our ‘Bags For Charity’ scheme, where all proceeds from our 5p carrier bags go to the Under Privileged Children’s Charity (UPCC). The equivalent of tens of thousands of bags have been re-used and we’ve noticed that many of you have been remembering to bring your reuable bags!
