Rajah Jeera is the dried ripe fruit of the Cumin plant and has a strong aroma and a sweetish, warming flavour.

Recipe For Pakoras (Fritters)
Ingredients:
100g flour, 1 tsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp salt, large onion (finely sliced), 1 tbsp coriander leaves, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds, 1 tsp chilli powder
Cooking Method:
Mix flour, lemon juice, salt and spices with enough water to make a paste. Leave for 10 minutes. Pre-heat deep frier to 190 Degree C/375 Degree F. Add onion and coriander to paste, mix well. Separate into quarters and ease into frier. Fry for 5-8 minutes then turn over and continue frying for another 4 minutes. They should be a deep golden colour and cooked through. Remove and shake off excess oil. Ensure fully cooked before serving.

Store in a cool dry place. We recommend that this product be put into an airtight container as soon as the packet is opened.
