Description:Amoy Yellow Beans in salted Sauce are made from selected top grade soybeans which are then prepared using a long process of cleaning, soaking, steaming, fermentation and blending with a specially prepared classical sauce. They are widely used in everyday cooking in China. Add them to soups, stews or any poultry, seafood or vegetable dish to give an entirely new flavour dimension.

Stir-Fried Mixed Vegetables with Yellow Beans (Serves 4)
225g / 8 oz Chinese leaves, cut into small pieces
125g / 4 oz white mushrooms, sliced
50g / 2 oz Mange tout peas
1 medium carrot, cut into small thin slices
3 tbsp vegetable oil
½ tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp Amoy Yellow Beans in Salted Sauce
A few drops Amoy Sesame Oil (Optional)

Heat the oil in a pre-heated wok or pan, stir fry the vegetables for about 2 minutes, add the salt and sugar and continue stirring for another minute. Add the yellow beans, blend well and braise gently for 1-2 minutes. Finally add the sesame oil, if using. Serve hot or cold.
Ingredients:Fermented Salted Soyabean (Soyabean 72%, Water, Salt 10%, Wheat Flour), Water, Sugar.
