Description:Jade Phoenix Chow Mein Noodles

Cooking Instructions:
In a large pot, bring 2 litres of water to the boil. Add noodles and cook for 3-5 minutes (do not over cook). Rinse under cold water and drain well. The noodles are now ready to be added to your favourite stir-fry.

Stir-fry Beef with Noodles
Serves 2-3
250g fillet steak, thinly sliced
1 pack Jade Phoenix Chow Mein Noodles
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
1/2 cup sliced red capsicum
1/2 onion, thinly sliced
1/2 bunch spring onion, cut into 5 cm pieces
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp cornflour
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp Chinese wine or sherry (optional)

1. Combine marinade ingredients. Marinate beef for 15 minutes.
2. Prepare noodles according to instruction, drain and set aside.
3. Heat oil in saucepan. Add garlic, ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.
4. Add capsicum and onion and stir fry until almost cooked then add spring onion.
5. Add beef, stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add noodles, soy and oyster sauces, stir fry for 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

Chicken, pork or seafood can be substituted for the beef. If using seafood stir fry for 1 minute or until cooked.
