Tamarind Broth Cubes (酸子湯料)

Description:6 cubes (makes 3 litres)

Directions:

For broth, dissolve 1 cube in 1 litre of boiling water.
For more concentrated broth, dissolve 2 cubes in 1 litre of boiling water.

Sinabwang Manok sa Gata

Servings: 5

Ingredients:

1 tbsp cooking oil
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 onion, medium, finely chopped
1 piece of ginger, thumb sized, finely chopped
1/4 kg chicken thigh, boneless, sliced thinly
2 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
1 lemon grass, whole
4 cups water
2 Knorr Tamarind Broth Cubes
1 Knorr Chicken Broth Cube
1 cup Knorr Cook-It-Easy Gata Recipe Mix
1 cup Malunggay leaves

Procedure:

1. Saute garlice, onion, ginger and chicken in hot oil.. Add fish sauce and lemon grass and cook for about 7 minutes.
2. Add water, Knorr Tamarind Broth Cubes and Knorr Chicken Broth Cube. Stir well and cook for 20 minutes or until chicken is tender.
3. Add Knorr Cook-It-Easy Gata Recipe Mix and malunggay leaves. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

Tip: Try adding sliced button mushrooms to make this soup more filling and delicious.
