Description:Fortune Foods Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
Dried Shiitake Mushrooms are full of flavour and make any oriental dish that extra bit special. In Chinese cuisine, they are often sauteed in vegetarian dishes such as Buddha's delight. In Japan, they are served in miso soup, used as the basis for a kind of vegetarian dashi and also as an ingredient in many steamed and simmered dishes. In Korean cuisine, they are commonly used in dishes such as bulgogi (marinated grilled beef), jigae (stews) and namul (sauteed vegetable dishes). In Thailand, they may be served wither fried or steamed.

Dried Smooth Shiitake Mushroom Size 4-5cm

Suitable for vegetarians.

Cooking Instructions:
Rinse, then soak for 30 minutes in warm water. Drain, keep the soaking water tor stock. Finely slice or cook in whole. Used for seasoning, sukiyaki, deep fried foods, stir fried foods, barbecues, stew and soup stock, etc.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and once opened in an airtight container.

Caution: Do not eat raw. Rehydrate in warm water before use.
