Silk Road Blended Sesame Oil combines top quality Sesame Oil with Soybean Oil to provide a highly aromatic, amber coloured oil particularly suitable for Chinese food.
Beacuse it 'smokes' very quickly when heated, Sesame Oil is not ideal for frying and is better used as a garnish towards the end of cooking when it will give the dish a shining appearance and an enhanced aroma. The few seconds of heat will intensify the fragrance

Recipe suggestions:
Dipping Sauce for Spring Rolls:
Blend 1 tsp Silk Road Blended Sesame Oil with 2 tbsp of Light or Dark Soy Sauce.

Spicy Salad Dressing:
Blend 4 parts Dark Soy Sauce with 1 part Silk Road Blended Sesame Oil, add 2 Spring Onions cut into strips and 1 Small Red Chilli finely sliced, season with Ground Black Pepper.

Store in a cool dark place.
