Description:Fish Sauce, or Nam Pla as it is known in Thailand, is widely used as a flavouring medium. In fact it is to Thai cooking what Soy Sauce is to Chinese and Japanese. Made from fermented anchovies it's salty, fishy flavour compliments and enhances most Thai Foods and forms the base of most Thai Sauces.
